秦蔼美「绘画的海阔天空」个人画展

一位中国现代绘画艺术的先驱曾启迪我们：画需要的是领悟，不是画笔上的技巧，不要去画物的外形，需要的是超脱。
秦蔼美自幼在香港接受教育，但因她身体原因，不能进入高等学府。然而她并无气馁，父母也支持她继续创作，她那份对绘画锲而不舍热爱，令她克服各种困难，并在此领域中找到了自己的天空。经历十余年的坚持不懈与努力学习，秦蔼美除受到不少杰出画家的指导外，期间更遍访中国大江南北及世界各间重要美术馆，悉心观摩了众多现代绘画巨匠的作品，将领悟反映在绘画作品中，不但融合东西方元素，亦体现色与形的解放，心与神的归宿。北京中央美术学院油画系主任袁运生教授评论：「这些画真是美丽极了，色彩尤其出色，不论是临摹、写生还是创作，她都是我行我素，从不依附别人的感受，天马行空而又极善于控制，我相信这就是所谓的心画。」
秦蔼美2005年在上海刘海粟美术馆举办首次个人画展，得到美术界的广泛认同与赞赏。今年年初她亦在香港大会堂举办了个人画展。借着今次展览，寄望香港市民能在秦蔼美绘画作品的「海阔天空」中和她一起欣赏与分享。
Amy Chun resists the confinement of lines and shapes, and she is gifted in depicting the essence of objects expressed in her own unique and liberated style. Viewing a world without boundary, the girl dares to open up a wider world with her brushes where her talent blossoms.
Educated and brought up in Hong Kong, inheriting the talent of painting, Amy never surrenders her passion in paintings despite her unfavourable health condition. Displaying over 30 sparkling, imaginative and colourful paintings, this exhibition invites the visitors to go into Amy’s creative turf of pureness and originality.
